Between Heaven And Earth

This piece was created for the Newfoundland and Labrador Arts and Letters competition .  It showed at The Rooms.  This piece represents life on a molecular level.  Using a one colour palette, movement and texture was created by varying the intensity of the ink.

Update:  This piece just recently showed in the 25th Anniversary Alumni Exhibit of the Sir Wilfred Grenfell Fine Arts program at the Queen Elizabeth The Second Library at Memorial University of Newfoundland.

I have always been fascinated by the process that occurs when life is actually created.  I don't nessasrily mean human life but any animal beginning.  That point where it all begins.  When the egg meets the sperm and the explosion of creation.
